A Glitterbomb September

We’re getting to role out the red carpets for our Freshers next month with a whole lineup of exciting events at our regular venues and some exciting pop-up nights coming to you, here is our September line-up:

Dame Jame’s Birthday Party:

Canterbury’s hostess with the most-ess; Dame Jame is celebrating her Birthday and everyone is invited to join her so get out the streamers and party hats as it’s time to wish them a Happy Birthday as we throw them a Glitterbomb Birthday Bash!!!

Join Dame Jame with her Canterbury sisters as we party until 2am celebrating the life and Drag of the Dame of Kent herself.

Renaissance Runway:

Cambridge & Canterbury, can you handle this? If you are anything like us we cannot get enough of the RENAISSANCE album by our Queen B herself so we’re getting ready to bring it to Glitterbomb Runway.

Join our Drags and Dancers on Tuesday 6th September in Vinyl Cambridge and Tuesday 13th September in The Cuban as we bring it to the RENAISSANCE RUNWAY ready to all become Alien Superstars.

Uni-corns are Coming:

The countdown is on to welcome all the new Uni-corns to Cambridge so to kickstart our Freshers countdown, it’s time to camp it up as Uni-corns are coming!

Join our fabulous Drags at Vinyl on Tuesday 13th September as we welcome a whole new world of glitter and glam, so sparkle up and don those unicorn horns, it’s time for a magical night.

Royal Holloway Freshers 2022 with Cheryl Hole & Danny Beard:

Royal Holloway Freshers have we got a treat for you!

We’re joining the RHSU Freshers lineup with a fantastic LGBTQ+ party unlike any other with a fantastic lineup of Drag performers including special performances from RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 1 and UK vs The World favourite Cheryl Hole, and the amazing BGT and cabaret legend Danny Beard!

Freshers Werk:

Canterbury we are getting ready to WERK!!!

It’s a new academic year and it’s time to open our doors to the next generation of Glitterbombers, so wear your most sparkly outfit, glitter up that face, camp it up or come in drag we don’t care just get yourselves down to The Cuban on Tuesday 20th September and join out Drags and dancers as we make your Freshers Werk.

We’ll also be ramping up our Freshers celebrations in Vinyl on Tuesday 4th October so get ready to WERK Cambridge!

Lip-sync for your Life:

Cambridge, are you ready to steal the Glitterbomb Stage?

It’s time to Lip-sync for your life, so join our Drags in a smack down for the Cambridge crown at Vinyl on Tuesday 20th September, good luck and don’t F*** IT UP!

Paint that Mug!:

With the countdown to our Freshers celebrations in full swing it’s time to glitter and glam up as it’s time to Paint that Mug!

Join our Glamorous Drags as you may have a chance to have one of them paint your face live on the Glitterbomb stage… against the clock! With face painters on hand to glitter you up, it’s time to turn a ‘lewk’ and be painted for the ‘gawds’, we’ll see you on Tuesday 27th September at Vinyl.

A Much Betta ABBA Show feat. Baga Chipz & Tanya Hyde:

Kicking off the tour in Canterbury; Glitterbomb presents ‘A Much Betta ABBA Show.’

Another ABBA theme, here we go again but this time we’re bringing it to you with a twist. A full 60min of live singing show featuring RuPaul’s Drag Race UK legend Baga Chipz and cabaret superstar Tanya Hyde.

This ain’t gonna be like any ABBA show you’ve seen before, this is gonna be ‘MUCH BETTA’!

Saturday 1st October – Rubix, University of Surrey
