Throwback Themes!

November. Halloween is over but it’s not quite Christmas yet…. but that’s never stopped us delivering some very iconic themes! Let’s take a look back at some of the themes and events in November from years past….

Queen of Hearts – Glitterbomb Canterbury 2018

With Tokyo Tea Rooms transformed into a Wonderland and our Queen of Hearts herself Amanda Bang lip syncing to Dancing Queen, we took a wild trip down the rabbit hole!

Dani Harmer comes to Glitterbomb 2019

Christmas came early when Dani ditched the dumping ground for something more camp! Tracy Beaker came to Glitterbomb for a night of stage games, twerk competitions dares and of course drag! All together now… BOG OFF!

Frozen 2019

Frozen 2 had been released in cinema and everyone had caught Frozen fever!  With everyone singing along to Let It Go, and Frozen-inspired drag performances we made sure Elsa and Ana were celebrated in the best way possible. even Olaf got involved, turning himself into a Bombshell Dancer for the night!

Musical Mashup 2019

When the theme is musicals you just know that it’s going to be a camp night! With the DJ playing everyone’s favourite musical sing-alongs and our Glitterbomb Drag Performers leaving you gagged as always! Our Musical Mashup night had everything from Delilah Tickles with her Avenue Q puppets to the entire dance floor doing the time warp. 

Drag Race Royalty – 2017

In November 2017, we had not one, not two, but THREE Drag Race Queens visit us in Canterbury! From the runway of Season 9, Valentina came to perform on our stairs…

… followed by none other but Peppermint taking over the club…

…and finally Shangela came and celebrated her Birthday and turned the party all night long!
